Alhaj Limuna Amin Musah also charges Mr. Kurt Okraku to purge the betting virus that has infested the Ghana Premier League by enforcing the Rules and Regulations of the game irrespective of personal relations with the clubs.

He expressed these words as part of his congratulatory message to the Ghana Football Association Capo.

Below is the full statement

Congratulations to Mr E.S. Okraku on your appointment as CHAIRMAN of the Inter-Club Competition Committee of CAF.

I really and sincerely honor you on this appointment, perhaps on your amazing proposals and suggestions to the competition, but not your Hard work and dedication to our local football that could have gotten you this far.

In fact, Mr President, this appointment should be by way of you sitting up and reenergising yourself to run an effective local football competition in your own country, Ghana, that you lead.

This appointment should speak to you about your league coming up with UNDESERVED AND UNWORTHY champions, especially in the Premier League, whose performance is best described as ABYSMAL. In this committee competition that you now lead, a clear example is just this ended Premier League Season.

Please Sir, your locality competition is highly Infested with Betting Virus 🦠 and of which you are very much aware of, based on this position you are tasked to hold I will advise that you put much effort if not to fully cure our league from this virus then At least “An Anti-Retroviral Drug” must be introduced to subdue the efficacy and effectiveness of the virus. What this simply means is that Please Ensure Strict Enforcement of The Rules and Regulations of the game irrespective of your personal relationship with such clubs.

Last but not least, please, Sir, our local football has been starving from sponsorship for some time now, and I believe you shall use this appointment as an opportunity to draw investors/Sponsors closer to our leagues SINCE THE COUNTRY IS NOW in a RESETTING MODE.

In conclusion, Sir, please remember that football is for everyone, that is why CAF gave you this appointment. Please be guided and guarded by your VINDICTIVE way of administering football in Ghana, and see everyone as important in the discharge of your football administrative duties.

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS to you, sir, and I wish you all the best in your new role.

Best regards Sir
