Northern Ladies kicked off the 2024/25 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League on a high note, securing three points against FC Savannah Ladies at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium .
This opening day victory sets the tone for their campaign in the Northern Zone. The league, which commenced on October 18, 2024, promises an exciting season with top teams vying for supremacy

In the Northern Zone, other matches saw Kumasi Sports Academy hosting Supreme Ladies, while Dreamz Ladies traveled to Tamale Super Ladies. Additionally, Prisons Ladies faced off against Ampem Darkoa Ladies, and Fosu Royal Ladies battled debutants Sung Shinning Ladies
The Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League will take a break for the December 7, 2024, National Elections and also observe Christmas and New Year breaks.
The league is scheduled to conclude with the grand finale between the winners of the Northern and Southern zones on the weekend of May 2-5, 2025
