Head of Corporate Affairs of Ghana Hajj Taskforce, Alhaj A.B.A Fuseini has dismissed a social media reports chiding Hajj taskforce for poor organization of this year’s Hajj after some prospective pilgrims captured in a video accusing the taskforce for neglect and lack of care given them upon their arrival in Saudi Arabia.
In a video that went viral on social media since yesterday, captured the pilgrims whining about services offered them by the Hajj Taskforce ranging from Accommodation to feeding as well as mandatory protocols they need to observe as part of the performance of the Hajj.
The pilgrims who seemed to be at lost, in the video bemoaned their stay in Mecca accusing the organizers for tricking them through the journey after failing to honor their side of the bargain promised them.
However, in an interview on Sagani TV’s Technocrats’ session program this morning with the Former MP for Sagnarigu, Alhaj A.B.A Fuseini, emphatically rubbished the reports, asserting that those Pilgrims captured in the video did not travel with the hajj agents approved by the Ghana Hajj Taskforce, emphasizing that the Taskforce is not responsible for their stay in Saudi Arabia.
Speaking in Dagbani interview with Abubakari Adam, the host of the program, Mr. A.B.A Fuseini suggested that those pilgrims might have traveled to Saudi Arabia with tourist visas which is not permissible by law for performance of Hajj rituals as announced by the Saudi Authorities before the start of preparations of this year’s Hajj.
Furthermore, he disassociated Ghana Hajj Taskforce from the aggrieved pilgrims, saying they do not part of their company to the Holy City of Mecca.
Meanwhile, the Head of Corporate Affairs of the Ghana Hajj Taskforce, disclosed that the 7th batch, which is last flight from the Tamale, has flown at dawn today to Saudi Arabia, stating that the remaining of pilgrims from the southern Sector will be airlifted from Accra, starting tomorrow, Saturday, 17th May 2025.
