CropLife Ghana led by its President Mr. Bernard Okutu paid a courtesy call to the Deputy Minister For Food and Agriculture, Hon. John Setor Dumelo to engage in a dialogue of national interest.
The dialogue underscores the critical importance of involving industry stakeholders in ensuring the successful implementation of the Feed Ghana Programme rolled out by the government through the Agric Ministry. Other pertinent government initiatives within the agricultural sector were also discussed.
At the meeting with the deputy Minister, significant issues were addressed, including the urgent need to expedite the processing of tax exemption documents related to agricultural inputs, emphasizing that streamlining the process will alleviate the logistical challenges currently
faced at the ports and enable companies to deliver essential agricultural inputs to the farming community to support Agric production and food sustainability.
