The President of Concerned Northern NPP Youth Group, Abdul Jalil Opelee has inked an open letter to the party, calling for peace and unity through collaborative and respectful dialogue in resolving issues ahead of the Party’s upcoming Internal elections.
According to him, the party must employ wisdom, unity and patience approach to enable them navigate through complexities in the political landscape for victory in the 2028 elections.
Mr. Opele in a statement said, “It is time for esteemed members of the New Patriotic Party to strategically employ wisdom, unity, peace, and patience, fostering an environment where collaborative decision-making and respectful dialogue prevail, to successfully navigate the complexities of the political landscape and achieve a triumphant victory in the upcoming 2028 national election”.
He also indicated that the party must cultivate collective spirit and inclusivity for an enhanced campaign that resonates with the people, admonishing party people to refrain from abusive and intemperate language that will heighten tension within the Elephant family, adding that Maintaining a sense of unity, solidarity, and respect is essential during this crucial period of the party
“As we prepare for our upcoming internal election within the New Patriotic Party, it is imperative that we carefully consider the language we use in all our communications and interactions. Let us consciously strive to avoid any phrases, rhetoric, or expressions that have the potential to sow discord or create rifts among the party members.Maintaining a sense of unity, solidarity, and respect is essential during this crucial period, as our strength lies in our collective efforts and shared beliefs. By fostering an environment that promotes mutual understanding and cooperation, we can work together towards a successful election that reinforces the principles and values our party stands for”.
