3 Colleges of Education in Northern Region Receive vehicle from Ministry of Education

Three Training Colleges of Education in the Northern Region, have received Toyota Land Cruisers from Ministry of Education with support from Ghana Education Trust Fund(GETFund) through the efforts of the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission.
The beneficiary Colleges of Education in the Northern Region include, Bagabaga College of Education(BACE), Tamale College of Education(BACE), St, Vincent College of Education, Yendi. The colleges are among 20 education training institutions presented with the vehicles to enhance their operations.
At a brief handing over ceremony held at the premises of Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) on Friday, December 19, 2025, The Honourable Minister for Education, Harruna Iddrisu, said the donation, which was done through GTEC, is to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of the Colleges, and to demonstrate government’s commitment in improving the welfare of teachers.
Among the Colleges that received the vehicles include Accra College of Education, Accra, Ada College of Education, Ada, Akatsi College of Education, Akatsi, Al-Faruq College of Education, Wenchi, Bagabaga College of Education, Tamale, Berekum College of Education, Berekum, Enchi College of Education, Enchi, Foso College of Education, Assin Foso, Holy Child College of Education, Takoradi, Jasikan College of Education, Jasikan, NJA College of Education, Wa, and Offinso College of Education, Offinso.
Others are Ola College of Education, Cape Coast, Presbyterian Women’s College of Education, Aburi, SDA College of Education, Asokore, Koforidua, ST. John Bosco College of Education, Navrongo, St. Vincent College of Education, Yendi, Tamale College of Education, Tamale, Tumu College of Education, Tumu, and Wesley College of Education, Kumasi.
Meanwhile the Technical University Teachers Association of Ghana (TUTAG) also received a vehicle. In all, 21 vehicles were presented by Ministry of Education.
