The Accra Sports Stadium is all set to host Ghana’s crucial Africa Cup of Nations Matchday 6 qualifier against Niger on Monday, November 18, 2024.
This comes on the heels of the stadium’s approval for the previous match against Sudan in October Ghana’s Black Stars will face off against Niger’s Menas in a high-stakes battle to secure a spot at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Currently, Ghana is sitting third in Group F with 2 points, trailing behind leaders Angola by 10 points and second-placed Sudan by 5 points . The Black Stars will be looking to turn their fortunes around and improve their standing in the group.
To keep their hopes alive, Ghana must win its remaining matches, including the upcoming one against Niger and the subsequent match against Angola. They also need Sudan to lose both of their upcoming games .
The pressure is on, but with home advantage at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Black Stars will be counting on their fans to cheer them on to victory.
