The Overlord of Dagbon, Ya-Na Abukari II, has lifted the ban imposed on Anbariya’s Afa Abrofu after suspending him from conducting Islamic Sermons in Dagbon over his alleged disregard towards the King of Dagbon.
At the Gukpe Naa Palace this morning, the elders led by the Chief Linguist of the Palace, announced the lifting of the ban on the loud Islamic Preacher, granting him the leverage to continue delivering his sermons as always.
This follows a strong objection to the decision by the leadership of Anbariya who challenged the process culminating to Afa Abrofu’s ban and advocated firmly for the reversal of the decision.
Upon careful examination and reassessment of the matter at hand, Ya-Na through the Gukpe Naa Palace has lifted the ban imposed on Afa Abrofu.
The reversal of the decision is a welcoming news to the largest following of Anbariya who expressed wider resentment and took exception to the ban.
