A former board Chairman of real Tamale United RTU Alhaji I. S Mahama ( Alhaji Savanna ) has donated Ten thousands Ghana cedis to the club .
The donation according to the club was done on Thursday 16/05/2024 through a press statement, this comes at the time RTU is struggling for survival in the Ghana premiere league.
Alhaji Savanna was part of a long standing 9 member board of Rtu, that was dissolved by the northern regional minister Alhaji Shaani Saibu earlier this year.
The management of RTU expressed their gratitude to the former board Chairman and promised to use the money for the purpose for which it was donated for, and also called on individuals and cooperate bodies to come to the aid of the club at this difficult times.
Real Tamale is at the bottom of the Ghana premiere league with 28 points after 28 matches, with 8 wins, 4 draws and 16 defeats, with a trip to the Akoon park at Medeama sc on Sunday.
