‘Anta Next Generation Foundation’ Donates Lifesaving Medical Equipment to Sabaare CHPS Compound

The Sabaare community in the Northern Region came alive on Friday morning as the Anta Next Generation Foundation donated a set of hospital beds and Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the Sabaare CHPS Compound.

The donation, led by the Foundation’s Executive Director, Mr. Alhaji Mohammed Shani, aims to strengthen healthcare delivery and improve patient care in the rural community.

The event drew community members, health workers, traditional leaders, and representatives of the Ghana Health Service, together to witness what many described as a “timely intervention.”

In his address, Mr. Shani underscored the Foundation’s commitment to empowering communities through health and development initiatives.

“Healthcare is not a luxury, it is a basic human right and the foundation upon which all other development rests,” he stated.

He highlighted that the donation of beds and PPEs was part of the Foundation’s broader mission to ensure that rural communities have access to quality healthcare. Mr. Shani further encouraged healthcare workers to continue their dedication to service, while calling on community members to take ownership of the facility and support its operations.

The Chief of Sabaare, on behalf of his elders and people, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the ‘Anta Next Generation Foundation’ for what he described as “a gesture that brings dignity and hope” to the community. He commended the Foundation for its compassion and commitment to rural development, pledging that the equipment would be used responsibly to serve the health needs of the people.

The ceremony ended in an atmosphere of joy and celebration, with traditional drumming, dancing, and words of appreciation from health officials. The donation, many agreed, marks a new chapter for Sabaare one defined by improved healthcare access and strengthened community partnerships.
