Dr. Kabiru Mahama, the Member of Parliament for Walewale constituency, has acquired an 80% stake in Walewale Catholic Stars FC, a Division One League side based in the North East region.
The deal was finalized today, Tuesday 25th February 2025 in Tamale, with Mr. Alhassan Fatawu (Gama), President of Catholic Stars, and Mr. Zakaria Safianu (Coach Sof), CEO of Memush Ltd and RTU, who facilitated the deal signing the documents.
This development is expected to be officially announced soon and is likely to bring a breath of fresh air to the Walewale-based club.
