The Paramount Chief of Tampion Traditional area, Alhassan Andani, aged over 80 years is reported dead at the Tamale Teaching Hospital after illness.
Naa Alhassan Andani has served on the Tampion skin spanning about 42 years until his reported passing today, Sunday, 15th June 2025.
The Tampion-Lana is a brother to the late Yaa Naa Yakubu Andani.
Reports say, elders in Tampion are engaged in a broader consultation with relevant Traditional Authorities in Dagbon to officially announce his demise in line with Dagbon Traditions and Customs.
