Coach Bashiru Joe Baah leaves Sankara Nationals after 5 matches in Division 1

Head Coach of Sankara Nationals Mohammed Bashiru Joe Baah, has stepped down as Head Coach of the Division One League Side.

This follows his side 2-1 home defeat to Tamale City on Saturday at the Yendi Youth Sport center.

Ahead of the start of the football season, Coach Bashiru Joe Baah agreed a 2-year contract with Sankara Nationals following a mutual agreement with the club.

In less than six months on the job, he has called a quit on his role, after just five matches, securing 3 wins, 1 defeat and 1 draw.

In a press release, the club announced the departure of the coach with immediate effect, announcing Francis Moari Bawumya as the interim coach.

Meanwhile Information reaching Ghananewsnet.com indicate that Mohammed Bashiru Joe Baah did not leave his role as a result of poor performance but other internal factors coercing him to leave the club unexpectedly.
