Tamale City FC delivered a stunning 3-0 victory over city rivals Real Tamale United (RTU) in the Access Bank Division One League, Zone 1A, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Saturday .
The Citizens dominated possession from the outset, setting the tone for a thrilling encounter, Adam Abdul Aziz opened the scoring in the 17th minute, and his brace on the stroke of halftime silenced RTU’s hopes.
Abdul Basit Lamale sealed the deal in the second half, securing Tamale City’s convincing win .This triumph marked Coach Issac Sarfo Castro’s first defeat of the season, ending RTU’s unbeaten run.
