The Northern Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaj Abu Hassan Rhyzos has donated 2,000 Ghana Cedis to Real Tamale United ahead of their Divisions One League playoff against Eleven Wonders.
The donation aims to boost the morale of management and the Playing Body in particular to do what they could to secure promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
Real Tamale United took to Facebook today, 29th May 2025 to announce the gesture offered to them by the Northern Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaj Abu Hassan Rhyzos.
On the club’s Facebook official page, the club announced receiving 2,000 Ghana Cedis cash from Alhaj Rhyzos.
“Thank You, RFA Chairman!Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo, Chairman of the Northern Regional FA, has donated GH₵2,000 to RTU ahead of the playoffs“We truly appreciate your continuous support for the Pride of the North!”
His support forms part of his philanthropic gestures towards clubs in the Northern Region as an astute Football Administrator for the past decades.
Since Monday, the Playing body of RTU led by Management and some selected Sports Journalists in the Northern Region has been pitching camp in Accra, courting support from people with Northern extraction based in Accra both in kind or cash to enable the club to bounce back to the top flight division of Ghana Football after few years of bewilderment in the lower tier league.
