Former CEO of Guan United, Alhaji Limuna Musah has questioned the relevance of donations made to Real Tamale United by former Board Member of the club, Alhaj Mahama Savannah and Ibrahim Mahama, a business Mogul.
According to Alhaj Limuna, the donations will not inure to the benefit of the club as it is already relegation bound, hence questioning the timiliness of their gestures.
Alhaji Limuna, stresses that he does not understand why most people will wait until its too late before they come to aid of the club, stating that such last minute donations are hypothetical.
It would bel recalled that the former board Chairman Alhaji Savanna donated 10,000 Ghana Cedis to RTU so as to aid their campaign in the league while Business man, Ibrahim Mahama also committed financial support to the club for the remainder of the season.
But Alhaj Limuna has critiqued the gestures in a social media write up..
“Where were those who are now donating cash to club at the beginning of the season? why wait until the club is relegated and they are now throwing their financial support to club this is hypothetical donations .
If you genuinely want to support the club why not do it the time its needed but rather wait when things are out of hands then will see people donating, for what purpose?
He has also advised the current management not waste the cash donations on the remaining matches in the premiere league, but rather save the money for division one next season, since the survival in the league is beyond reach of RTU this season.
Real Tamale united is languishing at the bottom of the Ghana premiere with 28 points after 29 games, with 8 wins 4 draws and 17 defeats.
