Member of Parliament for Karaga and Former Finance Minister, Mohammed Amin Adam Anta, has congratulated the Bulsa North MP, James Agalga, on his selection as the Majority Leader, touting his competence as someone who comes prepared for the role.
In a Facebook post today, 9th August 2026, sighted by Ghananews.com, Dr. Amin Adam Anta recognized his intellectual ability, praising him as a good debater, whose qualities will benefit the rest of the August House.
“Congratulations to Hon. James Agalga on his selection as Majority Leader of Parliament. I have known James since his younger days, and I can say without hesitation that he comes to this role well prepared. His years in Parliament and in Government have given him a firm grasp of the demands of leadership. He is also a fine intellect and a formidable debater, which are the qualities the House will benefit from”.
Despite the praise heaped on him, he said the Minority will match him with the same intellectual capacity, “For our part, the Minority will hold our line. We will pursue our responsibility with vigour by defending our democracy and speaking for those who have no voice. Ultimately, I believe the leaders on both sides will engage in greater dialogue and build consensus where it matters, so that our discourse serves the higher interest of our country”.
