The Assistant Coach of Ghana U-20 National Team, Fatawu Kiyoyo honored the invitation of Northern Regional Football Association to grace and witness the Division Two league finale involving Steadfast FC and Yendi Sankara Nationals played at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
His presence was to also scout out players for the national team consideration, particularly the young ones whose budding talent deserves to be honed for the future.
As one of the guests, he was privileged to confer medals to players who played in the finals.
Coach Fatawu Kiyoyo remains one of the longest-serving assistant coaches of the Black Satellites after his appointment to the position in 2018.
His unwavering commitment to the job to date has triggered his invitation by the Northern Regional Football Association to tab in his expertise and experience.
Before accepting the role at the Black satellites, he handled several clubs in the country as head coach, which included FC Tanga, Utetch Academy, Swedru All blacks, and Kpando Heart of Lions.
Coach Fatawu Kiyoyo is known for his honesty, integrity, sacrifice, and love for the game using it as a tool to transform football in Ghana.
At the of the Division 2 playoff, Yendi Sankara Nationals emerged as champions after beating Steadfast 2-1 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium to snatch the penultimate slot.
