Hajia Safia Mohammed Resigns as Coordinator of School Feeding Programme

Hajia Safia Mohammed has resigned from her role as National Coordinator for School Feeding Programme.

In a letter copied to the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Hajia Safia indicated that her resignation is effective 24th February 2025.

Hajia Safia served as Savannah Regional Women’s Organizer of the NPP and later moved to serve as deputy National Women’s Organizer while serving as the National Coordinator for the School Feeding Programme.

Below are some portions of her resignation letter

I write to officially notify your good offices of my resignation as the National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme effective 24th February 2025.

I appreciate the opportunities I have had while serving in this role and I’m proud of the
accomplishments and progress made by our team during my tenure.

However, I have decided to explore new opportunities hence the need to resign.
