The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford with:
Reason: Unsportsmanlike behavior towards match officials during Week 7’s Ghana Premier League match between Karela United and Heart of Lions at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
This ruling sidelines Hayford from the team’s upcoming fixtures against Berekum Chelsea, Accra Lions, Legon Cities, Samartex, and Basake Holy Stars. His expected return to the touchline will be for Heart of Lions’ December 24 match against Young Apostles.
The GFA warned Hayford that future misconduct may result in harsher penalties.
This disciplinary action aims to maintain respect and professionalism in Ghanaian football.
