Northern Regional Minister Hon. Ali Adolf John has made a bold promise to revive Real Tamale United FC (RTU) to its former glory.
During a courtesy call from the club’s management at the Northern Regional Coordinating Council on Thursday, February 27, 2025, Minister John emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort to achieve success.
He stressed that RTU is the only club in the region and its collapse is unthinkable. Minister John vowed to provide support, saying “if RTU is struggling, I will give it oxygen to survive.”
As a self-proclaimed sports enthusiast and life patron of the club, he’s committed to uplifting RTU’s name and seeing it thrive in Ghanaian football .
Minister John also encouraged players to remain disciplined and dedicated, as their commitment would inspire greater support from fans.
His final message was clear: “Let’s ensure that our wins outnumber our draws and losses.” With this promise, RTU fans can look forward to a brighter future for their beloved club.
