Kalibi Sporting Club have officially been crowned champions of the Upper West Regional Football Association (UWRFA) Division Two League following a coronation ceremony held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Malek Jabir Sports Stadium.

The ceremony marked the club’s remarkable achievement after an impressive campaign that earned them both the regional title and promotion to the 2026/27 Access Bank Division One League.

Kalibi Sporting Club’s promotion was confirmed after the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee, sitting as the Appellate Committee, dismissed an appeal filed by Sore Nante in relation to a protest case.

The ruling, announced on Thursday, July 2, 2026, upheld the earlier decision, affirming Kalibi Sporting Club as the rightful champions of the Upper West Regional Division Two Middle League.

With the legal dispute resolved, the club’s championship status was officially recognised, paving the way for the coronation ceremony and confirming their place in next season’s Access Bank Division One League.

The triumph marks a significant milestone for Kalibi Sporting Club, who will now look forward to competing at a higher level as they prepare for their debut campaign in Ghana’s second-tier league.
