KARELA UNITED STRUGGLES CONTINUE IN GPL OPENING WEEKS

18-09-2024

Karela United’s dismal start to the new Ghana Premier League (GPL) season continued as they suffered consecutive 1-0 defeats to Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea in weeks one and two, respectively.

The Tamale based club remain goaless having conceded two goals without finding the back of the net. This poor run sees them languishing at 15th place on the GPL table with zero points.

This results means that Head Coach Jimmy Corbblah is still searching for his maiden GPL victory at the helm of Karela United.

With two defeats and no goals scored, the spotlight intensifies on Coach Corbllah to turn around the team’s fortunes.

Karela United seeks redemption in their upcoming fixture against Accra Lions on Sunday September 22 2024.
