Karela United have survived relegation following a 3-0 victory over Young Apostles in the Ghana Premier League.
Karela United needed a win to stay in the top flight going into the game and they secured exactly that to maintain their status in the GPL.
The club has battled throughout this season for relegation survival due to challenges faced including being inflicted with bad results.

This follows the failure of RTU to qualify for the League after a 2-1 defeat to Eleven Wonders in the Division One League Playoff played on Friday, 30th May 2025 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Karela United finished 14th on the league log with 38 points after their win, condemning Accra Lions to relegation, and joining Legon Cities as relegation clubs of the season.
During the middle of the season, Nsoatreman FC pulled out of the league due to the passing of a fan of Kotoko following chaos in their home match.
