Madam Hajara Yakubu adjudged best Nurse in the Northern Region

The Principal Midwifery Officer, Madam Hajara Yakubu, who also teaches at Tamale Nursing and Midwifery Training College, has been adjudged the best Nurse for the Northern Region by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwifery Association.

Madam Hajara Yakubu won the award following her sterling performance in health sector impacting the lives of people by improving their healthcare.

She has over 2 decades of progressive clinical and academic experience affecting the health needs of the people in the Northern Region positively through Midwifery education.

Madam Hajara is a qualified health practitioner, holds an MPhil in Midwifery, and is currently pursuing her PhD program.

Her commitment to maternal and child health, research, and midwifery education continues to inspire excellence in healthcare delivery and mentorship in Northern Ghana.
