Medeama SC have been crowned champions of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League after sealing the title with one match remaining in the season.
The Mauve and Yellow wrapped up the championship in emphatic fashion with an entertaining 5-2 victory over Heart of Lions. Their triumph was further confirmed after closest rivals Bibiani Gold Stars fell to a 3-1 defeat against Dreams FC.
The victory lifted Medeama to 62 points, putting them beyond the reach of their challengers and officially securing the league crown.
Reports indicate the Tarkwa-based club will receive a cash prize of GHC 2 million for their achievement.
This marks Medeama’s second Ghana Premier League title in four seasons, adding to their historic maiden triumph during the 2022/23 campaign.
