Real Tamale United have announced the signing of Mohammed Bashiru(Joe Baah) as First Assistant Coach of the Club on a one year contract.
In a Facebook post today, on Friday, 26th December 2025, the club statement said: “Real Tamale United is delighted to announce the appointment of Mohammed Bashiru (Joe Baah) as our new First Assistant Coach”!
Aside the first assistant coaching role given him at the club, Coach Bashiru is also tasked to scout for players with focus on youth development to provide the club with fresh football blood in future.
Mohammed Bashiru steps into the new role with wealth of experience having previously coached clubs like Savannah Ladies, Tamale City, Soccer Missionary Ladies and Sakara Nationals.
His appointment came following his resignation as Head Coach of Sankara Nationals, a Division One League Club based in Yendi few months ago after guiding them to play only five matches in the Division One League Zone 1.
He is expected to offer new technical dimension to the current technical team through reading games and studying opponents to benefit RTU in helping them advance their qualification to the Ghana’s top flight league.
