Mohammed Kudus, the West Ham winger, has been handed an additional two-game suspension and a £60,000 fine for misconduct. His club, West Ham, also received a £30,000 fine .
Kudus apologized for his actions in a letter to The FA, expressing embarrassment and acknowledging that he lost his cool .
He cited mentally and physically challenging preparations for the game due to international duty and negative social media comments as mitigating factors.
As a result of the suspension, Kudus will miss the following matches everton (Home)Newcastle United (Away) and Arsenal at (Home)
This decision follows an incident during West Ham’s 4-1 loss to Tottenham, where Kudus committed a foul on Micky van de Ven and shoved Pape Matar Sarr in the face
The initial yellow card was upgraded to a red card after a VAR review, leading to the additional sanctions .
