Northern-based Hip-Life and Hip-Pop Artiste, Dagbon Saani has sent shivers down the spine of music lovers as he has threatened to commit suicide through a Facebook post emanating from him.
In his post on Facebook today, 19th February 2025, Dagbon Saani insinuated that he is feeling weak, lonely, hopeless, abandoned, and helpless.
According to him, the situation he finds himself in is no fault of anyone as he brought it upon himself, suggesting that his fans may not hear from him forever.
Dagbon Saani Wrote on Facebook “I JUST DON’T WANT TO BE PUTTING MY LOVE ONES INTO MORE SHAME AND PAIN AS THINGS GET WORSE WITH ME CAUSED BY MYSELF I’M FEELING VERY WEAK, LONELY, HOPELESS, ABANDONED AND HELPLESS. AM SO SO SORRY TO EVERYONE, I JUST WANNA BE NO MORE, TO CUT EVERYTHING SHORT. IN CASE YOU DON’T GET TO SEE OR HEAR FROM ME AGAIN. ASALAMUALAIKUM”
This worrying development has opened the door for people to lampoon the attitude of the current crop of artists who combine music with hard drugs or substances as a lifestyle or a modern trend, which supposedly gives an impetus to their music career.
He started his Music career as ‘Slim Swag’ metamorphosed to Dagbon Saani at his peak. He has released several hits to his name, affirming the music talent embedded with him with promising prospects in the future.
The musician has rich lyrics containing punchlines aligning with contemporary rap music that resonates with the youth. However, his alleged addiction to drugs and other related hard substances has essentially killed his potential.
