NDC Power play, As Ghana & Russia in High-Stakes Bid to Build Nation’s First Big Nuclear Plant.

Ghana continues to face persistent electricity challenges, including unreliable power supply and frequent outages that disrupt daily life and economic growth. The time to invest in nuclear power is now.  Report are that Ghana is in discussing to float a nuclear power plant from Russia in Ghana, This is yet to be confirmed by Ghana Government. The reports indicate that ministry of energy is in discussion with Russia for the possibility of floading the nuclear power plant. This will one most important deal Ghana would haver ever signed with Russsia. Academic Lomonoso plant from Russia is what Ghana is targeting. Financing, safety and power purchasing agreements are being negotiated allegedly. This power plant also does desalination, the process of removing salt from the sea water to make it drinkable for humans.
