The Northern Regional Office of the Youth Employment Agency(YEA), Headed by Believer Likpalmor, has been locked by a group of aggrieved youth affiliated with National Democratic Congress(NDC) known as Total Force.
The Group accused the Regional YEA Coordinator, who serves as the NDC’s Northern Regional Youth Organizer of neglecting the concerns of the youth.
According to them, Mr. Likpalmor consistently ignored their visits and failed to engage with them anytime they visited his office.
“No appointee will be allowed to sabotage the youth and NDC, government” one of the protestors stated during the demonstration.
The group says the action is a signal to all government appointees that the party’s youth will not tolerate what they describe as ‘disrespect and sideling’ by those in position of power.
At the time of filing this report, Ghananewsnet gathers that the office was reopened for use by staff.
