The Managing Director of National Lottery Authority, Mohammed Abdul Salam Gulbia has supported Real Tamale United with a cheque of 60,000 Ghana Cedis through the NLA’s Good Causes foundation.
Mr. Abdul Salam Mohammed’s gesture comes in the wake of RTU’s preparations ahead of the Division One League playoff against Eleven Wonders slated for Friday, 30th May 2025 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
This follows a similar donation of 50, 000 Ghana Cedis pledged to the Dagbon Development Project towards the reconstruction of the Gbewaa Palace through NLA’s Good Causes Foundation when he paid a courtesy call on Ya-Na a few weeks ago, as part of his tour to offices of NLA in the Northern Regions.
His donation of 60,000 adds to the list of Individuals and Organizations donating to RTU, aimed at cushioning their charge to mount a premier league return at the expense of Eleven Wonders.
Since Monday, the Playing body of RTU led by Management and some selected Sports Journalists in the Northern Region has been pitching camp in Accra, courting support from people with Northern extraction based in Accra both in kind or cash to enable the club to bounce back to the top flight division of Ghana Football after few years of bewilderment in the lower tier.
