Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League side Northern Ladies FC suffered an early exit in the ongoing Women’s Super Cup after 1-0 defeat in their last group game against giants Hassacas ladies.
Northern Ladies began the competition on a bright note defeating Supreme ladies by 3-0, but couldn’t stand the way of faith ladies losing by just a goal to nill in the second game,
The Tamale base club was hoping to bounce back strongly against premier champion Hassacas ladies to stand any chances of progressing to the next stage of the competition, but felt short against the Doo ladies ending the competition with just 3 points.
In the other group match, Faith Ladies delivered a commanding performance, defeating Supreme Ladies 7 goals to nill which sealed their qualification to the next stage of the competition.
Northern Ladies will have to regroup ahead of the 2024/2025 Malta Guinness Women’s premier league season.
