The Northern Regional Secretary of NDC Mohammed Abdul Salam Gulbia, has been appointed as Director-general of the Ghana National Lottery Authority.
President John Mahama appointed him to the position after it has become vacant for some time following resignation of Sammy Awuku, MP for Akuapim North, an appointee under the estwhile administration.
Mohammed Abdul Salam appointment follows the nomination of Northern Regional Chairman of the NDC, Ali Adolf John as the Northern Regional Minister Designate by President John Dramani Mahama.
His appointment has been greeted with numerous applauds from several quarters across board including the political class, Media Practitioners, Netizens through congratulatory messages wishing him well in his elevation to the new office.
The Northern Regional Secretary contributed immensely to the success of the NDC in the 2024 general elections especially in the Northern Region, helping the NDC to win 11 seats in the region.
Speaking to Ghananewsnet, he confirmed the appointment with excitement.
