‘Working For victory 2028 Group’ an affiliate of the Opposition New Patriotic Party has launched a campaign to establish a permanent Regional Office for the party, aimed at enhancing its administrative operations in the Northern Region.
The Group describes construction of the party office as urgent need to serve the purpose of th party in the region
This follows the failure of the Northern Regional NPP Chairman, Mohammed Bantima Samba to honor his pledge to construct a befitting Party office for the NPP.
The NPP in the Northern Region do not possess a party office on their own but operate in a rented storey building at Aboabo along the road.
According to ‘Working For victory 2028 Group’, the current office is not suitable to carry out effective administrative work as it is situated in the nosiest areas in the Metropolis, affecting administrative work of the Party.
In a statement signed by the Group’s chairman, Abass Gafaru noted that the lack of suitable functioning party office has created significant administrative and organizational challenges for the party in the Region, making planning and coordination difficult, thereby weakening the party’s central administration, supervision, evaluation and appraisal extremely difficult.
Recognizing the strategic importance of the Northern Region to the fortunes of the NPP, the group has taken it upon itself to mobilize funds for the construction of a befitting regional party office. This
initiative forms part of the group’s broader objectives to strengthen party structures and prepare it adequately to recapture the power the party lost miserably to the National Democratic Congress in the 2024 Elections.
Therefore, they are appealing for support from every party member especially the Presidential Aspirants to make contributions towards their proposal to build the party office.
