Dagbon Development Planning Committee Lead Member, Naa Alhassan Andani, the chief of Pishigu has called on well-meaning People of Dagbon not to express fatigue in their contributions towards the Gbewaa Palace Reconstruction project, highlighting the significance of the project with a target to build a befitting modern Palace comparable to contemporary Kings’ palaces across the world.
The Pishigu Lana made this call when he joined his people in Pishigu to observe Eid Prayers and mark the celebrations.
He remarked that Dagbon is noted with its eternal Pride, underscoring the beautiful culture of the Dagombas which is everlasting with huge regard for the lineage.
Since the Gbewaa Palace Project started, donations have been made to the Dagbon Development Committee to construct the Palace.
Work is steadily progressing on the construction of the Palace after a new settlement was built for people who voluntarily gave up their houses to construct the new Palace.
In this light, the lead member of the Dagbon Development Planning Committee, Pishigu Lana, Alhassan Andani, in his new year Eid-Adha message clamors for more support to speed up the construction of the project, noting that the project will not only serve the King of Dagbon but the entire Kingdom as the Palace will project the name of Dagbon when completed.
