Rashid Nuhu donates football kits to his former club, Liberty Babies, with support from ‘Football For the World

Rashid Nuhu, a former player of Tamale Liberty Babies, has made a generous donation of football kits to his alma mater, supported by ‘Football For the World,’ a USA-based sports organization.

The donation, presented on August 26, 2025, at Zogbeli Park, included 19 pairs of football boots, 8 sets jerseys, sports wear, bags, stockings, goalkeeping gear, and gloves.

Club President Thomas Agyei accepted the items, praising Nuhu’s kindness and generosity. Adjei noted that Nuhu’s consistent support serves as motivation for the younger generation, “He’s not the only former player abroad, but he consistently gives back to his roots.”

Agyei concluded with a heartfelt thank you and a blessing for Nuhu’s continued health and prosperity.

Head Coach Tamale Liberty babies, Shaibu Gilberto, on behalf of the technical team and players, also expressed gratitude for the donation, promising to make good use of the equipment.

Tamale Liberty babies is one of the oldest juvenile club in the northern region, with several divisions including colts and second division that has produced a lot of players in Ghana.
