Real Tamale United (RTU) delivered a stunning 4-1 victory over Walewale Catholic Stars in Week 3 of the Access Bank Division One League at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Walewale Cathotic stars took a surprise early lead on the 3rd minute through Prince Gbedzo, but RTU responded on the 4th minute to level the scores through captain Alhassan Musah
Captain Alhassan Musah, got his brace on 52 minutes while Sulemana Murtala scored direct from a corner kick on the 28th minutes and Abdulai Abdul Rashid added the four goal with a smart turn in the the second half.
The convincing win marked RTU’s third consecutive triumph, propelling them back to the top of the Zone 1A standings with 9 points from 3 games.
Walewale Catholic Stars suffered their third straight defeat of the season.
