Real Tamale United RTU has on Monday 23 September 2024 anvils new players and technical team members ahead of the 2024/2025 Access Bank Division 1 league season.
The iconic program was held at the Red Clay Center in Tamale under auspicious of the Northern regional football Association Chairman Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo who chaired the program.
Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo on his opening and closing remarks thanks the current management of the club led by Mr. Zakaria Safianu, for putting together a great program for the club, and urged the players to get RTU back to the Ghana Premier League. He also admonished the supporters of the club be discipline throughout the season.
The program was dubbed RTU’s code of conduct, game development, and player unveiling ceremony, the guest speaker of the program was the Head of public relations at the GFA Neill Armstrong Mortagbe.
The players were taking the through the laws of games, code of conduct of the club, maintaining professionalism, discipline, and respect ON and OFF the field by former FIFA referee Haruna Ayuba and Mr. Iddrisu Ewuntogman respectively.
Other speakers includes Maulaya Arif who took the players through building and maintaining physical fitness for the upcoming season, Mohammed Gargo a former player and current technical director of the pride of north took the players through the values and life after football.
In all Real Tamale United have registered 39 players including goalkeepers for the 2024/2025 division one league season, the club will be under guidence of experience coach Issac Sarfo Castro to be assisted Mohammed Nurudeen Sham’Una whiles John Adjetey as the goalkeepers Coach, Haruna Rashida as the team manager with Gargo as the technical director/ Youth development coach.
