The Chief Executive Officer (CEO)of Real Tamale United RTU Mr. Zakaria Safianu, has on Tuesday June 17th 2025, fulfilled his promise Black Damsel captain Adam Hajara, presenting her with brand-new football boots and an undisclosed amount of money at his Tamale office.
The pledge was made after Hajara and her team Azimpaga appeared on NTV Weekend Sports following their victory in the CAF Schools Girls U-15 Championship.
Hajara was accompany by her Coach Zhanka, who thanked the CEO for his commitment to nurturing young female football talent, while Mr. Safianu advised Hajara to remain focused and respectful to her coaches, emphasizing their importance in her football career.
Hajara who led the team from right-back guided Ghana to their first -ever titile in the competition.
The young Black Damsel sealed the championship with a 2-0 win over Uganda on April 26, 2025 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, capping off a flawless campaign in which they remained unbeaten throughout.
