Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex 1996 have announced the signing of forward Mohammed Alhassan Mankuyeli ahead of the 2024-25 season.
The highly-rated forward joins from relegated Real Tamale United for an undisclosed amount.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year contract, with a club option of a further year at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi.
Mankuyeli was instrumental for RTU in the Ghana Premier League last season despite being relegated.
He bagged 11 goals and provided six assists in 30 appearances for the Pride of the North.
He joined RTU in January 2023 from Berekum Chelsea after a successful loan spell at Accra City Stars.
Mankuyeli will join his new teammates immediately as they continue with their pre-season for the upcoming campaign.
Samartex will face Cameroonian side Victoria United FC in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, scheduled for next month.
