The Savannah Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mohammed Issah, has extended a goodwill message to all aspirants contesting in the party’s upcoming constituency elections, urging them to uphold peace, transparency, and unity throughout the electoral process.

In a statement dated June 10, 2026, Mr. Issah wished all contestants success as the NPP prepares to hold its constituency elections on July 11 and 12, 2026.

He expressed hope that the elections would be conducted in a peaceful, free, transparent, and successful manner, emphasizing the importance of preserving the party’s democratic values.

Mr. Issah commended all aspirants for offering themselves to serve the New Patriotic Party, describing their willingness to contest for leadership positions as a demonstration of commitment to the growth and development of the party.

He further urged all candidates and their supporters to remain united regardless of the election outcomes, stressing that the party’s values and principles should take precedence before, during, and after the polls.

“Your decision to offer yourself to serve our great party is commendable. Regardless of the outcome, let us remain united and continue to uphold the values and principles of the New Patriotic Party before, during, and after the elections,” the statement read.

Mr. Issah concluded by encouraging members to work together to strengthen the NPP for greater electoral victories in the future, reaffirming the party’s slogan, “For Party and Country.”

The goodwill message comes as the NPP gears up for its nationwide constituency elections, a key exercise aimed at electing new local executives to steer the affairs of the party ahead of future political activities.
