The Communications Director of Tamale City FC, Abdul Mateen Abdallah, has on Wednesday 22/05/2024 confirmed his departure from the club.
Mr. Mateen departure does not come as a surprise to many Tamale city fans as the one time vibrant Communications Director is now dormant on his role for over a year now.
He was appointed for the role two years ago, when the club was in division one league and was also part of the historic qualification of Tamale city to the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier league.
Its unclear what led to his resignation from the club, but a deep throat source indicates that he left because of luck support and approval from the club management in executing his duties.
Abdul Mateen introduced the famous Shiiiiim goal celebrationb anytime Tamale city scores a goal. During his time as the P.R.O, the club website and social media handles were seen vibrant championing the cause of the club on almost every platform especially on the new media .
