The young scholars of SOS School in Tamale have shown admirable skill and confidence at the 2024 National Junior Science and Maths Quiz hosted by KNUST. Their First Runner-Up victory is more than an academic milestone. It is a reminder that when children are encouraged to learn, question, and express themselves, they become active thinkers with the ability to lead.
Competitions like quizzes and debates help children build knowledge, strengthen their voices, and grow the courage to participate in decisions that shape their future. Every child deserves safe spaces, strong guidance, and opportunities like these to dream boldly and excel.
We applaud our students and their dedicated teachers for this honour and for proving that excellence thrives where children are supported, protected, and inspired. As they received their laptops during the award ceremony on November 3 at KNUST, their joy reflected the value of investing in every child’s potential.
