Member of Parliament for Tolon, Alhaj Habib Iddrisu has disbursed 320,000 Ghana Cedis to about 229 students through Soyalana Educational Fund to support the education of the needy and vulnerable students in the Constituency.
The disbursement which took place on Monday, 8th September 2025 in Tolon is aimed at improving access to education and eliminating financial barriers preventing needy but brilliant Students from furthering their education to the Zenith.
Hon. Habib’s disbursement will cater for the fees of the beneficiaries especially the Tertiary students for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Presenting the funds to beneficiaries, Alhaj Habib reiterates his commitment in supporting education of all people in the Constituency to ensure that no one is left behind in acquisition of knowledge and access to education which is the beckrock for human and community development.
The beneficiaries could not also hide their joy but heaped a lot of praise on their MP for his immense contribution towards their education, stressing that they will be forever indebted to him for alleviating humongous plight on their neck.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Minority Chief Whip also extended his magnanimity to the Tolon District Assembly as he donated Laptops, Printers, Scanners, and other computer accessories to enhance the operations of the Assembly, aimed at equipping the it to realize productivity.
