Tamale Central NDC Primary: Dr. Seidu Fiter Accuses Regional Executives of bias, Partiality

Frontrunner in the NDC Primaries for Tamale Central, Dr. Seidu Fiter has accused Northern Regional Executives of bias, lack of impartiality and fairness in the contest.

According to Dr.Seidu Fiter, Regional and Tamale Central Constituency Executives have not exhibited professionalism in the conduct of the Primaries, throwing their weight behind a certain candidate under the pretext of orders from the President contrary to the standard procedures.

However, Dr. Seidu Fiter is optimistic of victory in the contest regardless of what he claims ‘shenanigans’ engaged in, by the executives to tilt the outcome of the elections towards a particular candidate against the will of the people of Tamale Central.

Dr. Seidu Fiter is also of the view that he is a candidate of God, leaning on the support of nobody, stressing that the delegates are not gullible to be swayed by money or machinations employed by the Executives to change the outcome of the elections.

Today, Saturday 6th September 2025, delegates of Tamale Central will determine who fills in the void in the Constituency following the demise of the late MP of the area, Dr. Murtala Ibrahim Mohammed.

12 Aspirants are vying for the single slot in the NDC Parliamentary Primary in the Tamale Central Constituency.Key contenders among them include Prof. Alidu Seidu, Dr. Seidu Fiter and Hanan Gundado.
