Unity FC a third division club under the Tamale metro football Association has yesterday on the 10-05-2024 lost an inspirational captain Adam Abdul Ganiyu through Motor Accident on the Nyankpala road.
The 16 years old met his untimely death when Motor King crashed him on his way back to UDS Nyankpala Campus, and was rushed to the Tamale west hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The death of Abdul Ganiyu has brought sorrow to the football fraternity in Tamale including his team mates, supporters and technical team members of the club .
The young captain was an integral part of Unity stars campaign in the ongoing third division league under the Tamale metro football Association as they are second on zone two table with 19 points .
Burial has seen not been taking place yet, as family members, sympathizers are gathering at the West hospital at Zogbeli to prepare the body for burial at the Kalariga cemetery.
