Returning the courtesy, on Sunday, 16th February 2025, Ya-Na Abukari II in company with the several Paramount Chiefs under his dominion in a long vehicle convoy paid a grand visit to the Yangbonwura in a remarkable cultural display amid traditional drumming, riding of horses, singing of appellations by traditional vocalists (Lunga) among other cultural admirable things.

The Dagbon entourage led by the Overlord under police escort was greeted with a warm reception at Damango in ecstasy by the people of Gonja Land.

The event climaxed at the forecourt of the Yangbonwura Palace with a durbar as the two Kings shared warm pleasantries, dancing together to the cultural dance, depicting joy, happiness, and a sense of togetherness, deepening cultural ties between the two Kingdoms to the enchantment of the crowd and other observers.

Speeches were delivered from both ends, underscoring the significance of the occasion, intended to promote Peace and unity and preserve the culture of the people within the two Kingdoms.
