Yakubu Nassam Ibrahim Suzho Dongwu FC and Jalal Abdulai FC Elsfborg, Sweden have extended a heartfelt gesture to legendary former Black Stars player Amusa Gbadamosi.
The duo presented an undisclosed amount of cash and essential provisions to Gbadamosi in his hometown of Bimbila, Nanumba South district of the Northern Region.
Gbadamosi’s illustrious career for the Black Stars between 1964-76, and was also part of the 1965 African Cup of Nations winning team , 1968 Olympics Mexico and was adjege the Most Outstanding Player 1968 Olympics.
Ibrahim and Abdulai have pledged Monthly allowance for Gbadamosi to aid his finances and has also Organized football tournament to celebrate his legacy in Bimbila .
This selfless act by two of Ghana’s most promising footballers demonstrates their appreciation for Gbadamosi’s contributions to Ghanaian football.
This kind gesture is also to encourage young players to honor Ghana’s football heritage
and Showcase the importance of supporting legends who paved the way.
