Yela yela at Tamale stadium

The National Sports Authority, Tamale, has encountered a significant hurdle in the smooth transition of office responsibilities following the departure of the former director Alhassan Salamatu, who has refused to hand over and release the office keys.

Despite multiple attempts to recover the keys, the situation remains unresolved, leaving the current staff in a state of uncertainty and frustration.

The reluctance of the former director to relinquish possession of the office and the keys one-month-one-day has created a sense of unease and disarray within the organization in Tamale, as access to essential areas and resources in the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium is impeded. Efforts to address this issue have been met with resistance, and the lack of a decisive approach in requesting the return of the keys has contributed to a sense of inertia and apprehension among staff members.

The reluctance of individuals to confront the former director and demand for her handing over and the return of the keys to sensitive areas in the facility reflects a broader issue of accountability and assertiveness within the organization in Tamale. The absence of clear protocols and procedures for office handover has exacerbated the situation, leading to a standstill in the transition process and hindering the effective functioning of the Authority in the Tamale.

If Madam Salamatu can break the HR policies, for one month one day, then I question NSA transfer policies especially transfers with immediate effects.
